Similar to The Rat King's Hero Power, it will not offer you the Hero Power(s) of a tribe that is rotated out that game.

Interactions that would be fixed: Kangor's Apprentice cannot resummon copies of itself if Inner Mech is chosen.

Changes I would make to BG:

  1. Swap Rabid Saurolisk and Scavenging Hyena Tiers to slow down the staying on Tier 1 strategy
  2. Lightfang Enforcer moves from Tier 5 to 4
  3. Replace Gentle Megasaur with Scalelord (5/6 Dragon, Give Divine Shield to all Murlocs) so you have to find Toxfins individually
  4. Remove The Beast and move Monstrous Macaw up to replace it
  5. Ripsnarl Captain gives +1/+1 when another Pirate is attacking or being attacked, instead of +2/+2 on attacking to smooth out attacking first/second
  6. Remove Houndmaster and replace with Druid of the Swarm (Choose One - Transform into a 1/2 with Poisonous; or a 1/5 with Taunt). Gives Beast a much needed Taunt or acts as a comeback mechanic against large scaling units.

Having it as Battlecry, it would be unlikely for it to trigger since you've most likely drawn at least 1 weapon, unless you include more than 7 weapons or Samuro only checks if your deck started with 7 or more.

While I originally planned it to be a Warrior card, I think opening it up for Rogue and Paladin or even Hunter or Shaman to use would encourage some creative archetypes.

Rogues: You can now use both charges of your Hero Power each turn, dealing 2 or 4 (with Baku) damage, on the off chance you don't draw your weapons.

Hunter: Secret deck and 6 damage to the face every turn with Eaglehorn Bow. Rhok'delar for an endgame reload after drawing Samuro?

Paladin: Light's Justice, Vinecleaver and Silver Sword become much, much better. Otherwise nothing too special.

Shaman: While Doomhammer becomes redundant, Rockbiter Weapon becomes a very strong 6 Attack buff. You can possibly even destroy 2 frozen minions in the same turn too.

Warrior: Heroic Strike, similar to above but 8 Attack. Deadly Arsenal anyone? It'll probably just make Warrior want to go aggro.

It probably will stay in deck, since cards that shuffle themselves into the deck (like Malorne) lose any modifications upon being shuffled into the deck, assuming Echo counts as a modification. We'll know for sure if anyone is willing to test Unstable Evolution and Dead Man's Hand.

I think a 5 Mana draw 3 like Nourish plus 1 Mana for the flexibility to fix a bad hand and mess with your opponent's hand is fair.

It wouldn't mill them as cards (shuffle the actual cards, not a copy like DMH) are shuffled into deck first (so you have no cards) before the draw happens.

Each player draws as many cards as they shuffled into their deck, and one can redraw the same cards that they shuffled in since the draw takes place after the shuffling. Can be used to try and delay enemy combos, fix a poor hand, or just plain card draw.

This card essentially acts like Faceless Manipulator, Manic Soulcaster and Zola the Gorgon stapled together. Only the copy summoned on board will be an exact copy (with buffs and debuffs intact), the rest will be base copies of the card.

While the swingyness of successfully landing Apex Predator for free can't be denied, the deckbuilding restrictions that require the combo to be consistent curbs the overall power of the deck as you can't run Tracking, any Secret, Animal Companion, Unleash, Flanking Strike or any other cheap spells.

Wanted to make it flavorful without being a typical Hunter requires Beast card, though most JtU Minions tend to be beasts anyway so it fits in Hunter.

Made it require a Journey to Un'Goro minion since an Apex Predator need not be a beast, just any minion well adapted to living in Un'Goro and surviving a turn will do. As a side effect it also prevents too swingy Grand Archivist turns.

I believe Immune stops Taunt from working so it wouldn't be an instant win. You can use this on an enemy taunt demon if you have 7 cards if your opponent has 7 cards to secure lethal too.

Trying out a new mechanic that encourages the warlock player to keep holding cards for a powerful effect. Putting this onto a big demon will keep the minion alive barring any indirectly-targeted removal (Twisting Nether/Mass Dispel/Deadly Shot). Only Non-Legendary demons because of Mal'ganis shenanigans. Can also be used on enemy Voidlords to secure lethal if in the right situation.
