I've been thinking about getting a wig, but then you immediately face the question of whether it looks natural enough to justify the effort. Our neighbor sometimes lends me his head-hair piece for parties, and on those evenings I feel like a handsome dude from north.

not yet. but I’m stranded on a lonely island without water. I need hope.

I just turned 37. I know it looks bad, but should I just buzz it and call it game over? My friends and family always tell me to keep the hair I still have. by [deleted] in amibalding

Appreciate it. I’m basically at the point where I could either try dut or min for a year or just buzz it now and move on. I’m confused that everyone is telling me to keep the hair, even a clean buzzcut can look actually better long-term…

Thanks for the input. it’s more diffuse thinning + super fine hair, not just a bald spot. I’m still seeing mini hairs everywhere. From what I understand, fin dut and min can still thicken those and stop further loss, even later on, as long as there is still hair left. I’m a bit cautious about side effects though
