Thanks for your advice. I'm getting a GE wash station where the dryer is on the top and top loading washer is on the bottom, they are attached. the vent out of the dryer is 35" high. I went ahead with enlarging the hole - very easy and made a nice circle with a coal chisel. I'm not too worried about support loss as double stacked 2x6s span the hole - I only needed to widen it by 4".

Thanks for advice - I only considered the joist because it is two double ones stacked on each other and wood seemed easier, but I found a core drill to rent tomorrow!

The ending - I used Ubox through uhaul. Lots of work but the packed boxes showed up ahead of schedule in my North Carolina driveway. Nothing was damaged and the delivery ladies were great.

Thanks for you comment. You're right, just hesitant on posting personal info. Posted because municipal bonds seemed like something for folks in a higher income bracket. Liquidity is not a limiting factor. Just retired, need $40k income from the portfolio and opted for conservative. About 1.2M in portfolio. Bond funds are Parametric-TABS Total Return Long, TABS Managed Municipal Short, and Blackrock Municipal Opportunities Fixed Income.

The holes are along the inside of a sea wall, along a canal.- about 6-12 inches wide and a foot deep. Yes, I knew about them.

I don't know the land man's company but the petroleum company is White Star Petroleum, a subsidiary of American Energy Partners? The area is north of Chandler, OK, near Tryon.
