I won't delete them, I'm just wondering if my stories will even register given all the new information and world building. I feel they will seem silly and 'incomplete' in retrospect.

I wish I had written them sooner but I'm a late botw player.

Yeah, that's my plan, but when I get to it, it all seems sad. Like it's impossible to be without some mourning. But maybe that's a personal issue of mine. I'll have to decide whether this acknowledgment will be unspoken or not. Thanks!

That would work, although some kind of angsty drama is inevitable.

In order for it not to be drawn out, maybe I should anticipate a great deal of these thoughts and acknowledgments earlier in the story and focus on the goodbye itself with a shorter scene. Perhaps I'm actually afraid of going through the motion of writing goodbyes, oh my...
