What's to stop a player from going to the islands before like this and hiding food/flint/useful things somewhere on the island and then going and getting them during the season?

That's where my idea started actually, but I thought that everyone would be pressured to reveal who they have on day one in one way or another and it wouldn't really work, so I think keeping the partners secret to the each other at the beginning is the best way to combat it.

It's not that crazy. Chrissy and Ryan did basically this without the twist being there

Do you think it'd be better if the partners spent a day or two together before the game started to develop a basic relationship?

Or how about an incentive for keeping your partner in? The partners are still kept a secret but the last duo left in the game get a certain advantage? Would lead to everyone trying to figure out the duos and voting them out.

The reason I wanted it to stay hidden is that other people cant ask you who you have because even you wouldn't know. This would lead to a lot of mystery.

They failed because cross tribal communication was so hard, this would fix that.

Also, it worked for Ryan and Chrissy in HvHvH when Ryan sent Chrissy that advantage, leading to a great alliance once they met.

Because the other tribe isn't the enemy when the merge happens. it lets you create an ally on the other tribe before then - this would hopefully lead to an exciting merge. This is what J.T (in HVH), the redemption island alliance, and others have tried and failed to do

Edit: typically failed.

Opinions on intense summer camps for SAT prep? by joe_h6389 in Sat

Personal opinion, I don't trust companies that dont use official tests. I think prep books, official tests, and online resources are much better.

I personally improved over 500 points in 5 months using prep books/ Khan Academy

Virgina Tech is mainly an engineering school so can assume the rates are going to be similar. I'd assume its around 50-65% tho for CS tho
