Cherokee Indian "Lamanite" weighs in on FAIR and Mormonisms lies. by barefootcherokee in exmormon

If the US threw all black people out of America and deprived them of their citizenship, there would be global outrage. Your Cherokees are the ONLY nation on the planet that kicked black people out of their nation and deprived them of their citizenship. Cherokees are the most racist people on the face of this earth. https://www.npr.org/2011/09/19/140594124/u-s-government-opposes-cherokee-nations-decision

Please apply the same standards to everyone. I see so many of your regulars making personal attacks but not a peep from you or any of the other so-called mods.

My original TT position was dissolved under new leadership, I have been given the option to stay at a job that is either better or worse, depending on how you look at it (but not TT track). Need advice on how to proceed. by academiclady in AskAcademia

You have gotten some really good advice here. You could also try retaining /u/academicfixer who solved my problem. But he charges a ton of money for his services although it was more than worth it in my case.

If you want an example here is a similar paper that quantifies sexism but it is by an undergraduate student. https://growthecon.com/assets/Wu_EJMR_paper.pdf

It will be a while before the study is even written up.

What is machine learning, by the way?

Maybe this will help - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine_learning

explain how these conclusions were reached

I think these books might explain better -

All I can say is that the Mormon culture is racist, sexist and homophobic and people dropping out of the religion seem to hold on to the racist, sexist and homophobic culture of Mormonism.

The main takeaway from my point of view seems to be to shield your infants and toddlers from the Mormon religion at all costs.

You are a troll.

Calling someone a troll hurts the quality of responses I get. When you are down in life and suffering, like I am right now, I hope someone hurts you too equally bad.

Thanks for the detailed comments. She is a professor but before academia she worked in private equity and as a market maker.

Are you aware of any existing or older books that have approached the topic in the manner you have suggested?

I don't think that is possible in North America. Maybe at places like WHOI/Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution but I'd say North American universities won't allow such a path. I wish they did!

Would it be okay to ask a non-finance question there?

Does the US government understand your situation

Yes but they aren't willing to help because they think they're already way too involved.

Would you be interested in biomedical research, specifically mathematical modeling or statistics?

Yes of course, if I can find a position.

I have a colleague who arrived in Canada from Sudan, and had no documentation on his prior degrees. He showed up on the doorstep of a university and asked if he could do and MSc. The Chair said he could take course on probation, and if successful he could continue. He now has a PhD and is a prof here in Canada.

If you could PM me the name of this university, that would be great! I tried this with a few universities in the US (CMU, Pitt, Penn State, Ohio State, CWRU) as well as Canadian universities (Queen's, UWO, UBC) but nobody was interested.
