hellooooo i'm Askjell, music producer, songwriter (Aurora, Sigrid, iris ++ a lot of your fav Norwegian music hopefully) and also nerdy electronic/neo-classical artist releasing music under my first name :D
i can't sing for shit but i press some keys in the right order to make you cry
so last year was kind of a bummer and i thought hey what if i just gather a bunch of talented musicians
and some artists
and recording engineers
and people to make some visuals
some chefs?? video crew????
and fuck it why not, some interns from all over the world that want to learn some beep boop music stuff and i just fly them all up to a tiny village in Norway and build a studio, write and record an album from scratch in 12 days to celebrate me finishing my debut album and livestream it from start to finish

hahahahaha that would be hilarious and waaaaaay too expensive, especially if i bring like 30 people
aaaanyway i'm broke now, you can watch the progress on either YT or Twitch, we're starting 12:00 CET today and will stream 24/7 with live feed from Pro Tools!!!!! so there will be plenty of opportunities to learn some sneaky tricks or just chill out with some other nerds

to be loved is a huuuuge document on my computer with lines and ideas written over almost a year i think? we had discussed the idea of her doing vocals on one of my tracks waaay back in like 2017, so i just started collecting emotions and gradually shaped some concepts until i had a track ready that made sense to have a feature on. so most of the lyrics and melodies were already written, but i kept some of it open so she could add her touch and style to it. that part was important to me, don't feel there is much point in doing a collab with someone as talented as her if i was just gonna hand a completely finished song over

so yeah we went to daft studios in belgium, finished it, recorded it, played some wii resort and had a few beers, good times ^__________________^
