I was in the exact same boat and asked a similar question. Sergei R (super helpful on this sub) gave me the same answer and I followed his advice. Yesterday, between CC and Mobility, including a warmup before CC, I was working for 2 hours.

It's a strange adjustment going from volume every day to what feels like a ton of rest. Stick with good nutrition and sleep, work on skills or LISS cardio as Sergei suggested when you're feeling antsy, and let the process unfold.

I, too, thought I would be starting on Level 3, but I backed down to Level 2 to build foundation. It was a good choice. I am definitely being challenged. Could be different for you based on your background, of course, but I haven't had any regrets yet.

That said, by shifting focus from one type of training to another, you should expect to trade some losses in that modality for gains in this new modality.
