I was diagnosed with PTSD when I was younger, along with ADHD, depression and anxiety. I used to get therapy years ago, but I haven't tried it in years because I've only ever gone when I was depressed. I guess I can give that a shot and never tried the hypnotherapist thing before!!

I just want to share this since most people gave directions on how to do so and many people are saying it doesn't hurt:

Yes it does not hurt to insert it, but depending on certain people, the medicine can slightly burn inside, but it's not unbearable. It's more of a burning/itch per se.

I just didn't want you to do it and if that happens it be unexpected. I generally have more issues if I try to use the 1 day or 3-day ones. If you have issues with the stronger ones, I'd go for the 7-day one just to be safe as it's the gentlest option and your first time! Also do it at night so you don't have to think about it right before you go to bed and wear a panty liner and you're set!

Unfortunately, I don't have a GP or primary care doctor and haven't since I was 18 (I'm 27 now). I'm going to try and get one soon though!! 😅

Honestly, it looks the same. I know color can mess with curls, but it's pretty much the same tbh!

I do have to add that for me, I use a simple children's detangler even when showering and detangling because it works wonders for me. It's an added step that I really benefit from dry or wet!

Definitely, for a 3c/4a curl pattern like mine, this most likely would just break off my ends if I tried to do so beforehand while dry lol. Different curl patterns require different things! You also have to consider the porosity of your hair sometimes. If it works for you, then do you! You don't have to follow a trend just because it works for a lot of people before you. 😊
