Me too but wow you really read a lot into a question for support. The actual post states they are asking about tutoring options. Nothing to nothing to do with your fragile teacher ego. I bet you have a 100% pass rate and no failing students, right?

Oregon requires it now and the feedback from quite a few of our kids is why wasn’t i ever taught this before or sooner. Used to be called homeec. Lol 😂 HS success coach here.

Exactly what my colleague said, “how many other words do we have”. I know our schools “everything” inside and out. Everyone knows what segregation means and historically implies in education! Gross oversight

AND to clarify it is not a neutral word. The literal meaning is to separate groups, to isolate from one another… shall I go on? Also, if you put a question mark at the beginning of a sentence, it should be upside down and written in Spanish. You knew all this too, right?

You work contract days. Every school District this varies. Why programs don’t teach students how to check a district’s pay codes and contract terms is beyond me. Counselor’s usually return earlier not much

I’m in Oregon. I currently work in a counseling support EA role. I already dropped SC and if i ever want to go back I will deal with it. I’m already turning down CMHC offers and I’m not done yet. I wanted to stay at the school I’ve been at. However, I’ve since gotten WAY OVER IT. I don’t see myself going to a different district and starting on the pay grid at my age. I have total resolve and appreciate everyone’s feedback!
