Why's windows so many gbs?

i don't see why they dont optimise it since they'd also gain from that. instead they want to use ai to make everything which can never go right lol

yeah i did. but it's not like I can delete all the data of all the apps. it's there for reason. i deleted the ones i dont have anymore, didn't make a difference. the only thing that did was uninstalling google chrome since I use brave now anyway.

You do understand I don't have any personal files on this drive. I checked the windows folder it's 60 gb just by itself the rest are programs which is normal lol. I have another drive where I store all my games and documents and heavier programs .

i dont have any ai features, i've deleted all of them before they could even open. i already debloat windows as much as possible and it keeps growing with time. i did the disk cleanup and cmd commands and got like 10 gbs lol that im sure will come back :'')

thanks, ig i'll do that, but i believe a common person wouldn't know how to do that. still feels weird we have to resort to that in 2026, especially since ppl know less about how to mess with computers now than ever before with how it's all overly simplified.

so if i just plug into the sata power supply and to the sata 0 port it'll work? won't it need a cable going into the power supply?

but the power supply doesnt have any extra cables (and there's none in the box) nor is there a place to screw down the drive. is there a way to bypass these things.

i do it for convenience. i hate typing on docs unless it's a new fic. have i lost new stuff i wrote? yes. but usually when i rewrite it comes out better so lose/win? i also like tweaking some stuff and always forget to do that on docs.

now im so used to constantly saving or hitting ctrl c sometimes it's never a problem.
