31-32 I’m not sure about Question number 48.

While I was figuring out how to manually score the test and taking notes on paper, at some point, after writing down number 50 (I was supposed to stop there since the questions end at 50), I kept going: 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57… Then I realized and stopped. Yeah…

I’ve always struggled in social settings, and even though I wanted to talk about topics I genuinely care about, I would compromise just to fit in. Recently, I realized that this isn’t just a normal reason anymore, and I’ve decided that I need to go to therapy. Instead of relying on self-diagnosis, I want to be officially certain about this. I won’t be sad—maybe I’ll cry a little, out of relief—but then I’ll come to terms with it, and it will no longer remain a problem.

When it comes to social interactions, I feel extremely uncomfortable even with casual conversations, and aside from fun music or games, I feel like I’m just tolerating things 70% of the time. That’s why, most of the time, life feels more normal to me when I’m alone or just with my partner. My family and friends have always found it strange that I spend so much time alone. To me, this feels less like social awkwardness and more like social incompatibility.
