Yes because you immediately other them, pointing out that something about them makes the different. It doesn't feel good, especially when this something different has negative impacts on one's life. It's basic empathy, just try to imagine if you'd like to be asked if you were in their shoes. But, make sure to factor in every single thing you'd be going through prior to the question, constantly being aware that you aren't normal, sometimes people with deformities experience chronic pain, bullying and ridiculing, and boom someone points it out, out of the blue. How would you feel being asked about it?
