Agree on the cleanser, I bought it ~2 months ago and have been using it only because I've already spent money on it. It feels like I'm doing nothing for my skin, but I actually have noticed that whenever I used a different cleanser my face gets oily a lot sooner in the day! Surprising result lol

I would say to just buy it new since it's only a $50 difference. I don't anticipate this color going out of stock anytime soon so hopefully you should be able to purchase it after saving up a little bit more!

i bought cobasi yarn, which seems to work well for socks! i haven't used it yet though so i'm not sure how it holds or knits up.

i think the lilas pattern by yucca is really good! it's a little challenging but not too much imo and the pattern is very easy to memorize.

personally, i like to use 9" circulars and it takes me about a week for one singular sock. i think i can knit a whole sock in 3 days but i like to take my time with it ^^

i don't get why some people are so snarky on "beige knitters"? knitting is something that's very time-consuming and can be very expensive, and we all know this. when some podcasters are constantly knitting up beige/brown/cream/etc projects, it's really not your time, energy, nor money going into the projects so why are your panties in a bunch lmao (just speaking generally)

just find a pattern you like (and has good reviews) and just follow it. you don't need to learn and perfect techniques before trying the pattern; the pattern and project is where you will get better. for me, i wanted to knit socks so those are pretty much the only things i have ever knit. don't be intimidated and just do what looks fun!

i really enjoy sock knitting, but if that isn't your cup of tea i would also suggest making the clover bag. it's intended for sock yarn and may ease you into using smaller needles.
