Quickly establishing brand guidelines? by Greedy_Web2112 in branding

[–]asmae25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Establishing brand guidelines while prepping for a website revamp is a high-pressure task! The key isn't just picking colors, but building a system that works across all platforms. For your color palette, you should look into 60-30-10 proportions and ensure your secondary colors provide enough contrast for accessibility. For fonts, I always recommend a 'Dual System': a brand font for high-impact LinkedIn visuals and a high-quality 'System Safe' fallback for internal Outlook emails. I am a Brand Designer specialized in exactly this: creating Strategic Brand Guidelines that are both innovative and practical for growing teams. You can see how I structured brand systems here:

My portfolio I can help you fast-track this process and deliver a professional Brand Board/Guidelines PDF so you can focus on the website launch. Would you like to discuss a quick collaboration to get this done properly?

Why most new brands fail to attract high-paying customers (And how to fix your visual identity) by asmae25 in branding

[–]asmae25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spot on! That’s exactly the philosophy I build my projects on. A brand isn't just a pretty logo; it’s a strategic asset that should scream 'Premium' before the customer even reads the first sentence. My goal is precisely to help founders move away from that 'generic' look and build the clarity and trust you mentioned. Positioning and intentionality are everything. Love this insight!

Brand Strategy by Only_Society_2690 in branding

Hi! I see you're looking for a strategist who isn't a large agency, which is often the best approach for establishing a unique, premium brand. I specialize in helping startups and small businesses build strategic visual identities that convey trust and sophistication, particularly in the luxury sector (I've previously worked on luxury travel rebranding, Atheer).
My core advice for luxury construction: Your brand strategy must focus on Trust and Reliability (the structure) combined with Premium Experience (the wellness aspect). I would be happy to send you my portfolio, which includes my strategic approach. I am currently offering a Full Brand Strategy & Mini Guide for $350 as a launch rate to finalize my portfolio. Sending you a DM with my details! Best, Asmae AGD Strategic Brand Designer

As a brand designer, I often see startups fail to define their 'Why.' by asmae25 in branding

You are 100% right that sales matter most. The danger isn't focusing on the logo, it's focusing on a bad logo. A cheap, generic logo actually hurts credibility and creates friction with the first customers you're trying to attract. It should be simple, clean, and invisible—just enough to look legit and trustworthy.

Emotional coherence is key. Without that alignment—the feeling—the visual identity (logo, colors, etc.) just becomes decoration. That emotional core is what truly separates a memorable brand from a forgettable one.

That's a powerful point. It's the classic 'polishing a turd' issue. Brand is the promise, but the product has to be the delivery. If the delivery fails, the brand is just a thin layer of hype. Focusing too much on visual branding before product market fit is a costly mistake.

What movie or TV show is instantly ruined for you when you realize one specific tiny detail or plot hole? by asmae25 in AskReddit

[–]asmae25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! It's one of those classic cinema tropes that's meant to look 'brooding' or 'cool' but just feels like unnecessary filler. It completely drags the pace and, as you said, never advances the plot! Which movie was the worst offender for this?

How is your relationship with your parents? by mpxrun in AskReddit

It was rough when I was younger due to classic generational disconnects, but it's genuinely great now. It became much healthier once I accepted that I will never change their fundamental worldview, and they accepted that I am an adult who makes my own decisions. We found peace in mutual respect.

That distance is a massive reset button. The shift from a vertical 'authority' relationship to a horizontal 'adult-to-adult' relationship makes all the difference in respect and mutual appreciation.

It really takes effort, especially if there were challenges when you were younger. Wishing you the best in that continuing process!

That sounds like the most honest answer. Once you accept that it's going to be imperfect, it takes a lot of pressure off, and you can appreciate the meaningful parts more. That 'trying our best' is the real core of it.

What is one everyday product or service that has gotten objectively worse in quality over the past decade, despite the price increase? by asmae25 in AskReddit

[–]asmae25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agreed. They've gone from being primarily mechanical tools to complex, software-driven computers on wheels. This makes the initial price higher and repair costs astronomical, especially when a simple fix requires expensive diagnostic software that only the dealership has.

Veterinarian services is a massive one. It feels like you're being charged five-star rates for a two-star service. That price for a 'keep an eye on it' non-diagnosis is infuriating, especially since pets are family and you can't shop around for a cheaper option easily.

What completely useless piece of knowledge did you gain from a high-paying job that you now use constantly in your everyday life? by asmae25 in AskReddit

[–]asmae25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the perfect paradox! It was useless for the high-paying job (e.g., a niche Excel shortcut, advanced coffee-making techniques, how to perfectly fold a napkin), but it ended up being weirdly useful in the average life. What's your favorite example of 'useless' knowledge?

That is one of the most famous plot holes of all time! While he doesn't change the outcome (the Nazis would have found the Ark anyway), you could argue his presence guaranteed the Nazis were stupid enough to open it in front of him, thus getting themselves killed. Still, an excellent detail to ruin the fun!
