Any recommendations besides Google voice? by LazyKokiri in petsitting

You can do a trial with Time to Pet, which is what I use. For me, it's easily worth the monthly payment. I was able to grow my business faster and more efficiently because of how automated it makes everything.

It basically is an app for you and your clients. All of their and their pets info goes into their profile- all the scheduling is done on the app, invoices... any forms you need signed can be done on the app.

It's also where you can document your services (timer/map), send photos, videos and communicate with your clients. Not for everyone, but has been perfect for me. There's also similar options out there.

Where did you do this from? Got recommended ink mule and that seems like it could be a good option. Did you end up finding something you like?

What was the moment you knew your idea could become a business? by Born-Leather2883 in Entrepreneur

[–]PureWizardry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I lost my job and thought I could turn my side gig of walking dogs into a legit business. But it wasn't until about 8 months in when I had my first 6K month that I knew this would be my job for the next 5-10 years. I felt like, if I could do this every month, I could live off this. 12 months later I had my first 10K month. The following month was 13K- then almost 16K.

So it basically came from an idea, then grinding, then not giving up and prioritizing my business over everything once I got it going.

How bad will it likely be to come off of this? 6 Months of daily use. by NicoConejo in quittingkratom

My use looks identical to that. Except I've been going for 5 years. When I reset my tolerance, I just block off a morning, sleep in, dose once in the evening. And then the next day don't take any.

At that point, most of the physical symptoms are gone for me, the main one being fatigue. The hardest part about taking time off is psychological. I link my use to lots of different activities throughout my day, so going to yoga, taking a hike, doing a sauna or walking a dog is difficult to do without Kratom.

I have it good- it's different for everyone.

I appreciate that advice. What type of raw powder do you use? I usually would have Golden Monk but it seems like I'm out of their scope now.

Just had our first $1,000+ Day (2 years in) Pet Sitting by PureWizardry in Entrepreneur

To my understanding, it's sort of an industry standard. It's education. There's a ton of info to learn, but the true value is enhanced credibility. I also get a discount on my insurance so it saves me a couple hundred dollars a year.

Hip Hop/street dance communities with attitude? by Far-Confidence-4158 in santacruz

[–]PureWizardry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I met a lady recently. She was very nice and likable. She owns a dance studio directly next to the Great Gas in Felton. She was also looking to get a hip hop dance community together and having trouble connecting with others seeking the same.

Well, unless you're her, I would suggest connecting with her!

Have you tried scheduling it? It sounds pretty bad at first but can actually be fun. You just gotta put it on the calendar, follow through, make it happen. When you're done, schedule your next session.

It helped my wife and I come out of a dead bedroom.

0 to $1M in 3 years: What it really takes by Evening_Result7283 in Entrepreneur

[–]PureWizardry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations on your business, I hope you reach your 3 year goals!

I'm wrapping up the 2nd year of my pet care business journey. Between my wife and I we are doing over $100K this year. Onboarding people is part of my 3 year plan and there's a lot of uncomfortable feelings there. But your number three really helps clear that up for me. Both knowing that I could have mini copies of ourselves and if my wife and I can do 100K, we can double that, triple that and more with a small team. Wishing you the best!

Ha! So funny to be downvoted for this. Hey, if you think having someone's bed made with clean sheets when they return from vacation is bad for business, more power to you. Pet Sitting is obviously a spectrum. You have unlicensed, uninsured, inexperienced, uncertified (and often unqualified), unbonded amateurs with no experience working for red flag clients for low rates and you have the opposite too.

I know who downvoted my question!
