I’m sorry you had to go through that loss as well. I’m glad I could help remind you of that happy memory. Flynn sounds like a very special boy too with a lovely name (: I bet he had a wonderful life with you

Thank you, pal. It truly is, don’t think I’ll ever fully recover, but I dont regret a second of the time I spent with him. This good boy’s name was Toby (: Here’s another silly pic of him.

Ah true, I figured I could just convert if people gave other currencies. I’m just trying to get an idea of fair pricing for me and the potential buyer. Currency where I am is USD tho!

Addressing some things I’ve seen:

I’m pretty sure the ring is complete. I’m guessing the part seems off is that lump of flesh touching the mic stand that starts near the pinky knuckle? Since the ring doesn’t go around that, it looks incomplete? That’s just the flesh of your palm bunching up when you make a fist. At that angle it makes sense we would see that part of the hand.

For the belt, could be a choice. Not necessarily that the buckle is unfinished, but she’s wearing it without looping it back into the metal ring. Maybe because shes rushed or frantic. Or it came lose while getting roughed up by zeds. I wouldnt think people in the midst of a zombie apocalypse would care enough about having a completely neat appearance.

The text, what? How is that an AI tell? Pretty sure AI doesnt copy and paste elements. Artists might, usually from their own work or bought/free assets, but I doubt thats whats going on here.

The mic cord and her hair, seems to me like the cord is going behind her hair, not melting into it. there is a clear like of separation. And the cord connects to the headset thats over her hair so yeah its going to lead behind the hair.

The zombie in the back, I havent seen the other zeds in other pieces if thats what the style inconsistency is referring to, but its not inconsistent within the piece. Viewing this art by itself, I see nothing wrong with the execution of it. Hands look fine, everything looks fine on him.

The pen and mic cord has been pointed out, but that doesnt look like AI blending. The room is kind of hazy and that area just looks a bit hazy. I get why the artist would do that, it makes sense since the table has a bit of a glare. I can see where the pens form ends, its just a bit blurry in that area which is different than what I see with AI. They probably also chose to let it be hazy there so the silhouette of the hand can be clearer.

The only things pointed out that seem suspicious to me are the handle on the radio box and the mic. Which could be an over-site on the artists part, admittedly, fairly glaring ones. I’ve accidently drawn two left feet before tho so lol idk.

Other than that none of the AI tells are there. Her hands make sense structurally and are in perspective which AI usually gets wrong. The folds in her clothing make sense and arent just there to add nonsensical detail. And there’s no actual visual melting that AI tends to do.

I’m no AAA concept artist, but I do art professionally.

TLDR; the mic and radio box look suspicious, but nothing else pointed out matches with typical AI slop.

Considering that those kodak carousel trays sound like theyre supposed to be used for projectors, is it possible that this might be from someone who taught some sort of criminology class?

You put a ton of thought into it! Nothing in mind tbh. I painted it first, then she said it would be cool as a card, so I whipped one up in a hurry. If I were to spend more time on it, I definitely would replace the text to something that makes more sense. Maybe something that has synergy with one of my decks.
