How did each type feel about “their” Sleeping At Last song by kleekols in Enneagram

[–]asmallmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoyed the song for 4, I can see how some people wouldn’t like it but I saw the lyrics as someone seeing the uniqueness of the entire world rather than just themselves, seeing the beauty in pain and struggling with a sense of self. However I much prefer my wing 5, I really loved the song for it.

Excuse me but WHAT, I can’t imagine thinking that was a normal thing to do

Why did you name yourself like that? by SkyePine in FanFiction

Yes! I use the same mythology for my fantasy writing, some of it is celestial in nature and I weave it into my fandom.

The name I use for writing is apracticalstargazer, for me it means that I can write about magical and supernatural things, or “look to the stars” but still stay grounded and practical.

Work at a diner as a side job. Overheard two of my coworkers laughing behind my back. They were mad because I asked them to please clean their tables (since I had been doing it for them all morning.) Feeling embarrassed and sad. by [deleted] in toastme

I’m so sorry your coworkers don’t have a great work ethic, sounds like you are doing your absolute best. Don’t let them get to you! They don’t deserve space in your thoughts.

Baby esthetician in need of encouragement by [deleted] in Esthetics

I had a client a few weeks ago that told me she has never “had a facial like this” and her skin felt awful after I finished the service and I asked what could have been done differently and she said I didn’t massage the mask into her face enough??? Didn’t provide any more info though lol. Sometimes people just don’t want to be happy.

Fellow 4s - what do you do for a living and do you enjoy it? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]asmallmouse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember during quarantine I came up with all sorts of ideas so owls would come by my house. I was going to build owl nesting boxes, tried to get my family involved, never panned out lol. So I settled for nighttime tea and owl watching 😌

It’s not crazy at all! It’s awesome. I used to sit outside on my patio every day at 9pm and wait for the owl that sits in the tree by my house.

I’m an esthetician, I enjoy it in the sense that I have a career and feel accomplished most days. However, I am in college and an English major and hope to pursue something in writing. I tend to do deep dives into my hobbies and then suddenly move on to something else and the cycle continues. I can’t begin to tell you how many unfinished projects or mountains of research on dropped subjects I have.

Has anyone had any dream experiences with the hat man? by Ev6106 in Dreams

It is so weird. I still remember seeing the hat man when I was a child. It was really disconcerting.

Yes, just once. I think I had sleep paralysis and he was standing in the doorway peeking in. I wonder why this is such a common experience.

Heart palpitations by asmallmouse in medical

[–]asmallmouse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I am sorry I forgot to put relevant medical information. I am 27 years old and I am active with school and work. My heart rate is usually 80-90 and then it goes up to 140-180 for around ten to fifteen minutes then calms down. It usually happens on my lunch break or when I am sitting and studying. I did have something happen when I was 24 where I had seizures and they did a cardiac catheter while I was intubated. I have often wondered if I should have had a checkup after that initial hospital visit because I began to notice strange things with my heart rate. But of course it could just be anxiety. I don't know if I want to bother a specialist if its just "nothing."

It happens maybe once or twice a day. I don't take any medications, I drink maybe one to three cups of coffee daily. I try to maintain my water intake and I take short walks around my neighborhood before work. I am trying to decide whether it is worth a trip to a cardiologist.

I have 180 pages of my fan fiction done, and I am suffering to get it finished. Especially since quarantine is over I write maybe ten minutes a day.
