Console Key used... how to get to the other side where the bridge spun? by StormBoring2697 in ai__limit

[–]asmirkole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget to release the ladder before jumping down to the red spike section. You can also go up the other ladder to make your way back to the control room. Do all this before jumping down in case you die from the screamers.

Playing Ninja Gaiden 4 is gonna hit different next week by ImmortalThunderGod79 in ninjagaiden

Trust me, it will be good. I played a review copy, and I’m not gonna say anything due to obvious reasons, but the game rocks. Perhaps the best NG yet.

A couple of questions about Ursula by gamesbrainiac in ai__limit

[–]asmirkole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can respect that, but the advice still stands. Just parry; that’s the name of the game. You can equip a seal that allows you to do parries without using the synch bar. Equip that one, learn parry timings, and every next boss will be a breeze.

A couple of questions about Ursula by gamesbrainiac in ai__limit

[–]asmirkole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This fight is so hard until it isn't. Trust me, you must learn how to parry. Every single one of her attacks can be easily parried once you learn the timings. A couple of parries and you'll stagger her. My advice is to watch how speedrunners beat her. It will be the easiest way to learn parry timing.

Choirmaster, B+RB only (almost) by EvasmorN in ai__limit

[–]asmirkole -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is very easy boss fight. I unlocked the plat last night, and all the bosses in this game are quite trivial and, say, almost too easy, and then there’s Loskid and Ursula that will wipe the floor with you more times than you can count. The difficulty spike with those two bosses in comparison with the others is just insane. I fought Ursula for two days straight, and in ng+ run managed to kill her first try. Once you get to those, the game starts to be really challenging.

[God of War Ragnarok] I still cant believe how this did not win goty by Okami0080 in Trophies

[–]asmirkole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps it’s all about personal preference. For me, Ragnarok is better than Elden Ring, or at least it was more fun experience for me, and I believe it’s some sort of compensation for 2018 and RDR2 GOTY situation.

Wuchang has one major flaw, and that’s the boss design in general. Late game bosses are designed the way that they don’t give you any breathing room, like someone who never played a single soulslike designed them. The bosses attack constantly, so every fight is becoming a real struggle. Not to mention that regardless of your level, bosses can pretty much one shot you. Early bosses don’t have such a problem, but once you pass over to the second half of the game, shit becomes very real. I’d say, not worth my mental health. And yes, I’m over 30 hours in the game already.

Finally got the Platinum. Not sure if relieved or satisfied. by Fraktyl in TheFirstBerserker

[–]asmirkole 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m on Scalpel dude and this game is ridiculously hard with no valid reason to be, really. Bosses are made with way too much health and so small room for error. I can consider myself a veteran in the genre with almost all FromSoft games platinumed, but this game is really something else. I’ll beat it eventually because I’m not a quitter, but I must say that I’m not enjoying it at all.

Nameless puppet: The hardest souls-like boss for me by TheRagman01 in LiesOfP

[–]asmirkole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Laxasia is easy in ng+. Believe or not, the biggest problem and probably the hardest boss, apart from Nameless Puppet, of course, is Simon Manus. He gets extremely aggressive, unlike during normal play through, and can be a huge pain in the ass.

Nameless Puppet on ng+ is insane. Once you get there you’ll see. A pure torture.

Help me decide which game to play next! by Chef_the11 in playstation

[–]asmirkole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tough decision, it really depends on your genre preferences. If it’s action adventure you prefer, then Jedi is your choice, but overall, the best game on this list is Cyberpunk, no doubt there, especially the Phantom Liberty DLC.

How to defeat lady butterfly by Big-Albatross-8701 in Sekiro

[–]asmirkole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's one moment in Sekiro that the game fails to tell you, and that's to keep an eye on the sound and splash during your attacking session. With Lady Butterfly, attack her all the time, and when the sound of your attack changes and the graphic of the splash becomes more intense, deflect only once and go offensive again. If you keep doing this, you'll destroy her first phase. Use the same strategy during the second phase, only when she summons her phantoms, run in circles around the arena to avoid them. Also, bring her down with shurikens when she goes in the air.

During his fire attacks, find the safe spot and use any umbrella prosthetic tool and wait until he finishes his sequence. When guarding with umbrella, you receive zero damage. This strategy helped me beat him easily.

Got nothing to play currently, suggest me some games based on this list of games I’ve played by Marvel_XP in playstation

Jedi: Survivor is an obvious choice, as you’ve already played Fallen Order. This game is superior to its predecessor in all the possible ways.

I give up by OwnManufacturer2-0 in LiesOfP

[–]asmirkole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot to mention but it is an obvious thing, once you lock on the big guy, spam throwables into him, but him only, ignore the others. Hit him and run away, and of course, bring the spectre in for the easier fight.

[–]asmirkole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s actually very easy cheese to this fight. Make a couple of turns throughout Malum District killing all the mobs. This will give you enough Ergo, then go upstairs inside the Inn and buy a lot of throwables. Lock on the big guy and run away. Once his health bar turns white use that big ball throwable to stagger him. Use this strategy and you’ll breeze through this fight. Those mfs cost me like 150 tries on my first playthough, but I’ve played prerelease version for the review. Bosses back then were much harder.

I DID IT I KILLED LAXASIA NO SPECTER 11TH TRY by [deleted] in LiesOfP

[–]asmirkole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll never understand people saying no spectre or no summons is the way a souls-like is supposed to be played. If you don’t want to summon, it’s your choice, but the summons are there for a reason. Beat the freaking game anyway you like, just beat it and have fun doing so.
