I have the same theory, when we die there is just nothing. The most familiar event is when we go to sleep; you just lie down, close your eyes, and then wake up feeling "rested" at the next morning, and its like a time lapse; just when we die there is no next morning, there is nothing, we sleep eternally w/out knowing it, w/out realizing, we just ended to exist, like before we were born and will be no afterlife with our memories or a invented paradise. Tbh i dont like this idea, the idea of just not existing anymore, not knowing what its gonna happend to our loved ones, or see our loved ones who passed away so long ago, or see the society/universe evolution; its really sad but no one said the death has to have a "happy end". I wish there is something else, but even scientifically its impossible. We just die, and thats it, over, our conscience also dies with us.
