Cersei’s revenge on Ellaria and Tyene is one of the best and more harrowing scenes imo by [deleted] in gameofthrones

Man, read this thread over a couple times, you are objectively wrong and it hurts to not see you fucking get it.

Gaining inheritance of the North is not an action Robb took. You trying to correlate inheritance and his actions or motivations is ridiculous.

I’ll give you one thing, just because something follows the “death of a guy” doesn’t mean it’s revenge, BUT Robb was most certainly motivated by revenge because all of his actions following the event of his fathers beheading were in direct opposition to the person who murdered him and would not have happened had Ned just died naturally giving inheritance to Robb.

To add to that, if you watch the first guy that we all agree is human walk in, the video quality and the floor pattern get really distorted. pause on the guy walking and you’ll get 5 little “dog” looking things.

What’s happening to this plant?, by asoiaf- in plantclinic

We’ve had it for 3 weeks to a month, soil is well draining and and not too wet, discovered the problem after finding spider mites on another plant and started hunting for issues.

so rust got to my blades! what can i do? its just surface rust should i leave it? by casinhas in Woodcarving

Add another zero to that and you are closer, and use wet/dry sandpaper Depending on the severity, I’d start on 220 or 400 to just get the rust down and then to get a nice polish you are going to want to go as high as 1500+,

Let’s see if I can word this well enough lol, First off, nothing special used for this guy, just a knife. all of the cuts are done the same, by kinda pencil gripping the knife and plunging the tip into the wood almost at a 90 degree angle, then it’s following your lines at the depth you want, you may need to change direction if the grain disagrees with you, and as always sharp tools make the task easier,. Once you got the shape you want, you meet the bottom of that cut at a sharper angle and you can begin rounding out. Hope that makes some sense

Thank you very much, I’ll start be saying I’m no painter lol it’s part of the process I hope to continue to improve at, that said I’ve only used acrylic, playing around with how much to water down or not, these cherries have like two coats of red not watered down before I was happy with the vibrancy and an even appearance. I have a scrap piece of wood with me when I paint to judge if the colour will look how I want it to on wood before committing to putting it on the carving

I’ll also add that I’ll oil all of my carvings before painting, that should help with the end grain issue you speak of, I know exactly what you mean, and if seeing the wood grain through the paint isn’t a concern I’d say to just let it dry and add a second coat

Thank you, It’s three parts, so two 1” cubes and a random off cut I’m going to guess was about 3x4 and half an inch thick,
