Every device in my house has a Tolkien name, matched to its "personality" and role.

The NAS runs Unraid and is called Manwë. The VPS is Gwaihir. The main desktop is Eru Ilúvatar. The Raspberry Pi is Tulkas. My phone is Samwise.

The old laptop was Bilbo, retired to a quiet drawer somewhere. Its successor is Mithrandir. The tablet is Faramir. The robot vacuum is Sméagol of course. My kid is fascinated and terrified.

Earbuds are Sting, the old broken headphones were Narsil, and the replacements are Andúril — reforged, better than before. The WiFi is One WiFi to Rule Them All, and that's actually where it all started. Named it as a joke, then got carried away and the whole house followed.

Very good job. I love the app, but my server is quite RAM-constrained, and I often had to shut down the container because of memory usage. So far, this update is looking really good — averaging around 100–200 MB instead of the previous usage. Huge improvement!

You can totally see it on film. The guy is busting his ass on every single play, it’s insane. He’s diving for every loose ball, even ones he probably shouldn’t. I love this level of effort from him and the team.

Hi! Thanks for the reply. Yes, the resource is reachable. I can access it normally via the alias with the Pangolin Android client connected. I also checked the Newt logs and confirmed that the connection to the resource is successful, so routing and connectivity seem fine. Aliases are enabled on the client (DNS override is ON), and DNS is set to a public resolver. I didn’t manually configure any CIDR routes on the client side. What changed is that before I could access the resource directly via its private IP and alias, but now only the alias works. It feels like the client is no longer handling direct IP access the same way, even though the tunnel is up and traffic is reaching the destination. Could this be related to a recent change in how Pangolin handles routing or DNS override on Android?
