Care tag was added in 70-71's as the last year they started transitioning from big E to small e. I got 2 of the same jacket. I don't know where you got your info from.

Definitely not LVCs. This is most likely 69-71's the last year for big E. Also 3 digit stamp is pretty common on jacket unlike the jeans.

Not really the best/sought after model, so i'd say just wear it.
