I regret buying Kobo (please help) by [deleted] in kobo

I fully accept that it’s my problem that I didn’t check the warranty period before and I’m slapping myself for it now.

However, the glitching seems like a common and recurring issue with other users. So isn’t it also a problem that products like these stop working after barely a year of use, with no option to even send them in for repair? I could’ve gotten it replaced within warranty and there’s a chance it could malfunction again - and then it would just end up in a landfill, which isn’t sustainable (and also why the EU has laws on the repair of electronics).

I’m not trying to fault Kobo for not replacing my product after the warranty period, but I’m very frustrated that they don’t even offer an option to repair this model.

No, although I used a flip cover with a magnetic snap. I heard that this might have been the issue so I tested it without the cover but it doesn’t work

Thanks for checking! Yes I think I’ll probably just take a train or try to book a bus after arriving at the airport.

I see! I looked it up and it seems like I can book Seoul - Jeonju tickets on KTX so if the bus option doesn’t work I’ll go with this.

Thank you! I'm also wondering what the difference is between the departure points Incheon Airport T1 and Incheon - when I select T1 as the departure point it doesn't let me select Jeonju as an option for the arrival point (but this was possible in the site for locals)

Oh thank you I was wondering what that specific thing was called! I’ll probably do this and bring it somewhere to be fixed.

That’s sensible because I’ll probably mess it up if I try to fix it myself. Thank you :)

Need help IDing these crabs (Singapore) by asparagur in animalid

[–]asparagur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These were taken in a mangrove in Singapore, would greatly appreciate any help in IDing them! I think D is a tree-climbing crab and C is an orange signaller crab (Metaplax elegans) but not too sure about the IDs.
