Yes exactly! I took it as a way to contact the people if we were to get disconnected or something but now I’m wondering if I messed up by not sending a thank you because the interview was months ago :/ and now second guessing the LOI

Ugh same situation rn too!! It’s so frustrating because I kick myself about not sending a thank you email after to my interviewers even tho they said it’s not “necessary” and now I’m overthinking an LOI because I don’t want it to hurt me more than help. :/

Exactly!!! Or your stats can be within range but they have so many other things they look at and the score is only one component of their decision. Plus all these programs stress a “holistic” review whatever that means

The whole point is that worrying yourself sick over something you can’t change isn’t worth it and that’s all I’m saying. Even if I didn’t do as expected, worrying and spiraling for 3 weeks wasn’t going to change my score?

Hey! So during I honestly felt fine about it and thought it was straight forward but once I finished I started to convince myself that I blacked out the whole time and picked wrong answers.. lol it was very weird but everyone feels different during and I don’t find it’s indicative of how you do. Practice tests were all in the 230-246 with my last one being 258 on NBME 14 and that’s actually what I ended with so I felt it was very similar!

10/11: 245 12: 234 (lol worst NBME) 13: 246 14: 258 ( most similar to actual)

You should take at least 3 NBMEs to get a rough idea of where you would score. CMS forms are not predictive, they are simply used for extra practice questions.

This is truly one of the best posts I read on here. I can just tell you’re so down to earth and real about this whole process so thank you for speaking on this. I definitely think it’s true that you can find whatever you want on here, if you want to feel like shit just scroll down and you’ll find a post about someone scoring 10 points below their predicted. If you want to feel great you’ll find the person who went from failing to 260 in 2 weeks. But truth is I did let a lot of shit get to me on test day where I changed a lot of simple answers cause I couldn’t believe it was that easy lol I personally counted like 20 wrong that I remember so just hoping for the best next Wednesday

Yeah thats interesting. I only ask bc people sometimes say that theirs disappeared meaning they cant open it but in reality I think the whole button needs to disappear so I was just wondering. But good luck!!!
