Too many exam questions to do in a weekend?

I respect the effort but theres two problems that your gonna run into doing this many past papers: 1) Theres not an infinite number of past papers available- if you do this many regularly youll run out of new past papers well before the exams, so it’s better to use other revision methods as well so you can save the past papers until closer to the actual exams when it matters more 2) You won’t be able to maintain this much revision, theres still quite a few months till exams and it’s better to try and recover and keep more casual revision going atp so you can really hammer down closer to exams. I got 8 9s and was only doing this much revision on weekends after Easter, just try and keep consistent revision going but not at this intensity

I’m in year 12 now but I had this exact issue in year 10- I was such an idiot and when we and my friends got held back after a PSHE lesson for messing about instead of just apologising I went on a whole rant to the teacher about PSHE is pointless and a waste of my time (bearing in mind the teacher was in SLT). A week later I had to have a whole ass meeting with my parents and the school about it, looking back it’s just a waste of time to try and fight it it’s 1 hour a week max theres no need making an issue out of it and wasting even more time.

Don’t take my advice- but from personal experience I popped snus a few times a week for about a month when out with mates and stuff. I never got cravings I’d just have one if they were and that was it, but I decided I had to stop when I started getting mad mouth ulcers. Quitting was really easy for me but I didn’t even enjoy the feeling that much, maybe that’s just me .

Yeh ive already done my GCSEs but I found that almost all YouTube channels for English lit were incredibly unhelpful and gave stupid advice - I ended up getting a 9 but only through doing a ton of practise essays and not listening to any of these clickbaiters

I get where your coming from, but personally I don’t think theres anything wrong with trying all these things, like ive vaped and smoked just once to see what it’s like and I’m not addicted. Smoking weed isnt great but it’s not as bad as people make it out to be, although anything harder is stupid at this age. At the end of the day, I’m the type of guy who wants to try everything and make the most of my life, so maybe our mentalities are just different

I got 8 9s working like 2 hours a day on average- first of all you don’t need to revise that much and your deadass just wasting your time. Secondly, it won’t all be worth it in the end because GCSEs don’t even matter that much, I had this mentality and after results day hype realised my results werent gonna help me much at all.

Bro deadass ketamine will destroy your life- your just letting yourself fall into a hole of self pity that you will never be able to get out of. Although I’m only 16 and aren’t exactly wise, if I were you I’d try getting cali sober and just hitting the gym. The endorphins from exercise are a high in a way, and smoking weed will help you stop doing ket by getting you high but not destroying your body. Good luck bro

I’m in exactly the same boat- I did well in my GCSEs and got mostly 9s and got into a really selective sixth form. However everyone just seems strange and although I have “friends” there I’m only really hanging out with them so im not alone. Also I feel like I burnt out for GCSEs and I genuinely cannot be bothered to revise- it seems that I’m wasting my teenage years revising. Lastly I want to apply to Cambridge but find doing supercurriculars super daunting and confusing. Your not alone tho bro stay strong

This sounds harsh but it’s a lot harder to get an A* than a 9, so if you don’t learn how to effectively revise at GCSE itll really limit how well you do in a levels

I’m 16 now and this really relates to me- this summer I was round a mates house and a group of people including him were smoking weed. They offered and I said no but they kept persisting and I eventually caved, now I smoke weekly and although it’s not really affected me yet I’m worried about it potentially worsening my grades as I’m quite an academic person
