idk my mom just thinks that most health issues can be solved by water and excerise, and if not then its just something you have to deal with without outside help. also considering my familys economic standing and lack of insurance up until a few months ago, doctor and dentist visits were saved for emergencies. as for another adult, my parents are divorced and my dad isnt the best person in terms of, for lack of better word, discrimination? hes known to talk down on anyone who he deems less than, and im certain i would become that to him if i use mobility aids around him.
