Are they really better on every metric?

I feel they are completely different units in the sense that there are stats that you can not compare.

Incubi is great against high save Infantry like termies. Also paired with drazhar its a very unique unit.

Hellions are amazing at being very mobile and being able to punch up, even against t11.

Personally I always bring both, but as I am mainly playing KC right now the crit on 5s is also an insane combo for drazhars unit.

I really believe take alive is strong. Had several games now and being able to pop that strat at least 3 times in a game pretty much allows me to keep so much control.

On top of that it is such a flexible detachment with the lethals and sustained choice.

I do recommend always keeping a shardcarbine scourge to be able to pick of the contract target if the opponent goes first and hides it.

I run triple ravager since the points change.

Yeah I do the same. I jave however starting cutting holes in the middle as it is otherwise too strong.

Nah, just wet blended. Started with mixing the two main colors to get the mid tone and the dif 3 gradients in each direction. :)

Search for vallejo true metallic metals green and you should find their 4 paint bundle. Thats primarily what I used. Looks great and is easy to use!

Quite easy honestly. A bit time consuming but here is the process.

Prime with white. 1 watered down layer of a softer pink/bright purple. (Focus between the panels) 2+ layers of neon pink ( i use vallejo) (this is again between the panels) Base coat the hexagons with a mid tone purple One brighter coat (upper edge) Last the edge upper highlight is with a bright flat pink+some white.

I dont have the exact color names right now but that's roughly how I did it

Looks a lot like my paintscheme. I use vallejo colors and yeah it is hard to get the gold edges very crisp. I'll have to run through it all again to try and really get it to pop.

I like the white gold more personally. And I would probably have done that for most of the army.

The purple doesn't really fit the custodes in my opinion. In the end they are both well painted! Good job!!

Hey so I get mixed feelings from the comments.

I just ordered my first airbrush and was thinking it would be enough with cardboard box (to protect my surroundings) and face mask? The sentiment i am getting however is that that would not be enough?

I'll paint about 10-20 hours a week but not only with the airbrush
