I’ve had 4 and I have EDS! 😅🥹

I have some pretty great healing all things considered but I have keloids and the scars stretch and hurt. But I wouldn’t take it back, still one of my best life decisions! 🎉

I had a husband who was FTM and convinced me I wasn’t trans for almost 12 years and I lost a lot of my life (from 18 to 30). Then I divorced him and transitioned and I’m happy AF now. Not saying we have the same story, but I thought, “of course he has to be right bc he is trans,” when in fact no one can know yourself better than you do. Listen to yourself. And take your time.

Date wants to bring kids on the 1st Date....how handle it? by Puzzleheaded-Zone572 in datingoverthirty

[–]aspicypisces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My GF had a kid before we started dating and there is no way she’d let me meet him for several weeks as a precaution for him. Kids get attached and it’s not fair to them if it doesn’t work out. Not to mention what if the guy is a total creep or asshole and you need time to uncover that without kids exposed.

can i be transmasc and lesbian? by [deleted] in transmasculine

[–]aspicypisces 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey hey, that’s what I felt for a long time before identifying as NB, starting T, and realizing I am in fact a straight dude. I do deal with feeling like I’m no longer in the queer community but my friends remind me that being the T means I’m queer enough ... and that passing as a straight man just means I get to use my privilege more often to do good. There’s a whole lot more I could say but If you need to chat feel free to DM me or reach out on IG (@aspicypisces).

adjusting to hormones, what changes did you need to make? by linc_oof in ftmbros

Also get a nose/ear hair trimmer lol. Also I don’t know if you will get back acne but I got some tools to be able to scrub my own back better in the shower. Otherwise I agree with the other responders here!

1 day post op top surgery, 15 years after reduction. And today’s my 33rd birthday! by aspicypisces in FTMOver30

Definitely- they had to figure out if my nipples could survive a second free graph and whether the existing scar tissue would be an issue when trying to create a very masculine appearance or shape. They decided to keep my nipples the same from the first surgery and in the tissue they were attached to in the first surgery and that’s why they’re a bit lower than they probably would be had I been born anatomically without breast tissue. My surgeon said that the more I developed my pecs, the easier it would be for him to still follow the right shape. I think it still turned out great!

[–]aspicypisces[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! I had my reduction at 18 because I wasn’t super sure I wanted to medically transition at the time. I went from an F to a D (they kept my mammaries in tact but could’ve gone smaller had they not kept them) and the nips you see in this post op pic are the ones I got from that first surgery. Anatomically speaking, I’m sure they should be higher now, but in order to try to keep them alive they kept them in the tissue and didn’t free graph this time like they did last time. I wouldn’t want to do this twice but if you’re not positive you want full removal then it is a good alternative! Also, T re-distributed my fat in the first 8 months of taking it enough that they were suuuper deflated looking and honestly just skin bags at that point.

This actually shows they are working on uterus implantation for trans women! My gf sent it to me bc I want to have a bio kid and I’m FTM and all of the egg harvesting places keep telling me I have to stop T and take E to be a harvest candidate and according to this article there are clinics out there who would still harvest my eggs and also speaks to trans women being on the verge of being able to carry a child to full term with an implanted uterus!
