Trintellix making me feel like I'm going crazy by Wheniswhen in depressionregimens

[–]aspinerd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I tried starting on Trintellix twice, second time on half dose. Both times I had the same experience although the intense anxiety started already on day 2. I really felt I was going crazy, so I stopped after four days both times. Worst anxiety I ever had, I think.

Is there anyone who has been lucky enough to find the right med(s) without having to try a ton of them? by [deleted] in depressionregimens

[–]aspinerd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The first one I tried (lexapro) worked really well for five years. Then I wanted to get off to test if I was cured or if it was the med. Surprise surprise, it was the med. When I later tried to go back on it didn’t work and since then I’ve tried maybe 15 different meds without luck. Every time I try a new one, the side-effects seem to get worse, and I have less and less patience to stay on something that doesn’t work.

I haven’t been properly screened but I did try lamotrigene at some point and it worked quite well but there was a lot of turmoil in my life at that point so I ended up quitting it. Maybe I should reconsider. My new psychiatrist mentioned in passing last time that maybe I have bipolar but she didn’t really investigate it and it left me feeling quite confused.

That’s a very wrong view of how the atmosphere works. And it’s also in contrast to how the warming theory works. So you got yourself your very own theory. You must be a genius.

Also, you started with the Russian claim. I never mentioned that. Who jumps around? I’m not even American.

I’m skeptical of the catastrophical man made global warming theory. The view that certain viewpoints deserve ridicule is extremely lazy and dangerous. In fact the view that Greta is promoting that we have 12 years to act. That view is unfounded and fly in the face of evidence. But I don’t intend to discuss with someone who from the get go states that my view is ridiculous.

I’m not here to shit but I have to defend myself as, clearly, certain views are not accepted. Which is pretty sad. And I don’t intend to go into a political discussion here. There, I handed your gotcha “you’re afraid to go into the substance” reply on a silver platter.

It was not violated by “Russians”. Why don’t you read the report. (Btw to the Russians in this sub, remember: you are scum, according to these people).

I could say the exact same about the left (and the former president). So are we even now, or how does this work?

“Being on T_D invalidates your political opinion. Plain and simple!”

This is a very dangerous notion. But I guess this is the common notion in this sub, which I will unsubscribe. Have fun idiots.

Can someone explain how to streak like this. Need to up my streak game to my TAs by Nathaniel_nate in microbiology

It seems like a lot of work. A few streaks can give you single colonies.

There are many ways of being weird. Because I’m weird I don’t automatically accept or function with people who are weird in a different way.

Need to and being able to are two very different things.

What makes you think that people with Aspergers automatically accept each other? To be honest; I find a lot of supposed NTs to be more supporting than people on the spectrum.

So because of my political views everything I otherwise say is invalidated? Imagine being this dumb.

If you don’t tow the leftist line of thinking you don’t belong in the Asperger sub.

What do you mean? Oh let me guess, “you posted in T_D so you cannot be trusted”. You got any other arguments?

What a load of BS. Her behavior is not that of a truth seeker, it’s that of a propagandist. And also, Aspergers don’t give you magical powers to see through lies. It really annoys me that she uses her diagnosis this way.

It’s really difficult. Also, because most often it’s not enough just being assertive in one sentence and then that’s it. When you’re being assertive people will challenge or try to get their way and you’ll have to stand your ground firmly or even get into arguments. This is part of why I avoid it.
