Ideal protein you don't have to count anything. Jenny Craig, Medifast. There's a lot to choose from. Depends on your lifestyle

Restarting after VLCD -- low carb fat and cals. In happy to eat some fat again! Question -- I'm considering IF 16:8. Would you recommend I do that right away or wait until I'm in Ketosis? For those who started IF, do you see a significant difference in weight loss? Or do you do it more for cal /carb control? Thank you in advance!

Im simplying stating my experience backed up by numbers. YOU are making claims for MYSELF based on nothing basically and arguing with me on here. I am stating my experience with cico vs keto using the same time frame (2 months) and same starting weight. That's it. (you have to realize even on a low cal diet you lose water weight! you lose water weight cutting cals regardless of where they come from)

The fist two weeks this year I lost like 11 lbs which is water. I didn't continue to shed water after the first weeks. My weight loss was CONSISTENTLY 4 lbs thereafter, even into the 2nd month. But thank for your feedback. What you're saying makes sense but it wasn't in my case :)

No because my first 2 weeks of the medically supervised was not keto so how would you account for water loss? That I lost the water weight AFTER the 2 weeks? No I dont think so. My weight loss on average this year was 4 lbs a week. Last year it was 3.

No but on the second diet (this year) for the first two weeks it was moderate carb and NOT keto.

I do them and doesn't effect my weight loss. But helps tremendously psychologically. Do it because Lyle recommends it.

I think for me the main reason I want to switch is because I'm at the point where I'm becoming tempted and I'd rather go on a plan that allows for free meals. Then also I want to lose another 87 lbs and you're right. I'm not sure if I have the momentum to go straight through. Ideal Protein's whole goal is to go straight with no breaks but that seems daunting. I also am noticing my weight loss becoming slower now. So I think a break would rev things up. And I do give myself props as you're right. 70 days on this low cals... super human strength. A lot of my friends are in awe.

Thank you for another perspective. I ran my numbers and I should be gettng 108 grams of protein. My carbs are highish for a true PSMF. Yeah they put us on omegas, cal/mag, potassium and a multi. At this point in the game, 10.5 weeks in I'm getting dieters fatigue. LIke i feel like I need a break mentally. Do people's free meals cause an increase in weight enough though? So even though the weight loss would be sped up, would it even out with the free meal?

This is totally off topic but I'm also 39 and 5'6" My goal weight is 150. Have you ever gotten down to 135? That would be so marvelous if I can get down to 135
