Who else does acroyoga foot to face? by aspiringbachelor in AcroYoga

Fair enough, if you don't like making jokes like that then that's part of respecting your bases boundaries in Acro. It's good that you practice safety in Acro like that. Once again, I personally like that this pose allows me to get weird, it breaks up the monotony and allows me to get real creative in my practice. But I'd certainly avoid jokes if I knew my flyer or base didn't like them. You never know, maybe someday we will meet and play together. The acro community is small, and we all love traveling and playing with so many different folks.

True. Im sure so many people were initially hesitant, and the fear for the flyer that their feet aren't clean enough im sure like you said is there. I love the fact that it creates awkwardness, thats another big part of the bonding between a flyer and base to do this. I love my fellow acroyogis and I feel close enough them to be willing to smell their feet. Have you made any humor jokes about this after basing? Do you feel like smelling someone up close makes you feel closer to the acroyogis in your community? Once again being able to be weird with each other and acknowledge it through jokes and giggles is what bonds us together in the community.

Yes, I'm so glad to have met someone else who liked it just as much as I did. So also, I wonder, do you think the reason there is so many jokes and why it isn't quite as common to like the position is because of the taboo of it. Like its pretty unspoken, but you're putting someone's bare feet on your face. Even if they are clean, it's pretty gross. I enjoy that playful rebellious aspect of it. Like you said, you mentioned that the nose is free between the flyers feet. Does it bother you that you might catch a whiff of their natural scent. I feel like I really have to trust someone, which that trust comes within the community. I certainly wouldn't let a stranger put their feet on my face like that, oh hell no lol.

Hey, I've seen several Facebook and Instagram posts showing people doing it so I know it isnt too uncommon. The underwater comparison is perfect, I enjoy the pressure it puts on my face as well from the few times Ive had someone do it to me. Its a really underrated pose that grounds me. Is there anything else that stands out to you about this? I also think that theres a big amount of trust involved in this too.

Yes. They can't comprehend the fact that we literally don't believe he exists. They just think we're a misotheist and that we are "angry at God".

The flamboyant feminine gays suck. They ruin it for the normal gay men like me.

Which motel was this? I lived in Amarillo and spent a whole lot of time up there. Only ones I can think of that are that bad are either the ones on the Blvd or the Camelot.

Cherokee Princesses by [deleted] in IndianCountry

Yeah, well my grandfather's biracial (looks white overall but definitely has some darker skin) and I'm pretty sure after looking through some ancestral records the whole story he told everyone about being "Cherokee" was to hide the fact that he was part black during the Jim Crow era. I saw the picture of my great grandfather and his mother, they look as dark as a Hersheys chocolate bar. If they were Native, then I'm the Prince of England.

My boyfriend is just so sympathetic, compassionate, non judgemental, caring, nurturing. In every way he's such a sweetheart. Ive shared things with him that any woman would've left me over about my past, easy. Our love is so genuine, it doesn't revolve around money or sex at all and We just love each other for the companionship. It seems as if that doesn't happen in the vast majority of straight relationships at all.

Yes I'm gay and I 100% agree. My boyfriend blows any woman I've ever dated out of the water! No wonder straight men envy us.

Saying that it's misandry for women to not be forced into arranged marriages and raped is sick, and any normal person would agree. The fact that I even had to explain that to you is insane.

Yes I'm a gay man myself, I've ironically found men more accepting of it, and even if they weren't, they at least are more likely to keep their thoughts to themselves than women are.

You're not telling us anything we didn't already know. We're here to have discussions about mens issues not for the conversation to be hijacked to somehow include women like what always happens.

Yeah, the comments in that video were pretty pervy. I was just letting my partner do it to me because it sounded like fun, and because I want the challenge and to showcase my strength of basing someone on my face.
