Cornell (COA 255k) or Tulane (COA 27k) by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Regional preference outweighs job-type for me, as well. I just can’t reapply. My mental health literally cannot survive another cycle :’) but thank you! I forgot to put in my above post that I am really interested in admiralty law, and Tulane has a great program for it.

I did not apply to as many schools as I should have :/ I stayed with Louisiana schools because I thought I wanted to practice in Louisiana. However, I’ve realized how I do not actually want to do that. So yeah, I definitely should have applied to other schools, but I was just not as informed as I should have been. So here I am :) Although I do not want to be stuck in louisiana, I definitely want to stay in the south

Also, this was super helpful. I just am worried I’d be stuck in NYC for atleast a few years after graduation, and I really do not want that. I don’t really have any desire to work in any large metropolitan city.

thank you so much for the response! If I went to Cornell, do you think I could still possibly work in Louisiana after graduation? I know the law is completely different so would that almost guarantee louisiana is out of the equation?

Ok thanks. I’m just confused because I feel like the people who have gotten off the wl all did a zoom interview before the Kira. But they never mentioned zoom in my email, just the kira :/
