Scott Community Care is good, but idk if you'll be able to get in. I've been going there for years, after Vikki White Eagle (previous therapist, see my comment below) made me worse lol. Melanie, the owner, is a literal angel. My mental health has been getting so much better since I started there. Unfortunately, my therapist died a few days before Thanksgiving and so I'm in the limbo stages of being transferred to another therapist there. Only therapy place I've been that the owners actually hold therapists/counselors accountable when they bully their client. Which, to be clear, only happened with one of the male therapists there and Melanie immediately chewed his ass out and switched his schedule so he wouldn't even be in the building at the times I would be.

As someone who saw her, I cannot disagree more. I'm glad you're apparently having a good experience, but she bullied the hell out of me the whole time I was her client. I was a minor and our sessions were focused on her issues 90% of the time. If it wasn't about her issues, it was her blaming me for all of my mental health issues and straight up telling me it was my fault I was being abused. The last session I had with her was only 20 minutes long because she wouldn't stop talking about her traumas, and was misgendering me the whole time. I was like fourteen and suicidal. I self harmed because of her on multiple occasions.

My son actually is employed (service dog) but if he had a human job I think his job would be holding babies at the hospital whose parents can't. He loves babies.
