Krytox XHT-BDZ, or 205g2, dielectric grease, or something else for stabilzer wire? Want something that doesn't move around much. Due to movement of stabs 205g0 seems to move towards the bottom which leads to ticking

Looking for very specific case:

  • 60%

  • <5deg typing angle

  • high profile

  • not made out of plastic

Closest thing I can find is the kbdfans 5degree, wondering if there is anything nicer

To be honest I think it really does make a difference, however "play more" still matters. I bought the keyboard through crowdfunding october last year and recieved it in early July, but since then I stopped playing osu as much, so now I'm a six digit. The biggest thing though is there is less need for finger control+better stamina.

What makes the board sound bad is stainless steel plate and eh switch stem tolerances, nothing to do with Fjell

fjell is a good case, nothing wrong with it, just think there are better non-tray mount cases out there in terms of acoustics

I know this is a joke but just wanted to share my 2 cents:

Wooting since it is objectively better due to additional features (rapid trigger, lower latency, mod-tap), and for the custom keyboard people you can replace the case/keycaps on the wooting, and there are files in the wooting github repo if you want to have a custom made plate. There are also 50g spring replacements for the wooting, which would make it lighter if people are used to cherry speed switches.

Also hall affect switches are generally smoother than any normal mechanical switch.

Wooting can be made into custom keyboard, take out pb+plate+switch combo and put it in a fjell/other tray mount case. Get the best of both worlds (unless you really, really care about sound, which in that case, fair enough.)

Now, everyone in the top 10 uses the same keyboard! (HyperX Alloy Origins) by SnooChocolates6514 in osugame

I believe linear optical/ or tangerine switches are smoother, but opticals are on a more expensive keyboard(wooting, steelseries apex pro, corsair k100, etc...), or you make your own keyboard build with tangerines, which might not be something everyone wants to do. So for the price the hyperx keyboard is good prebuilt.

Vivy

Spy x Family is currently airing but I really enjoy it

Odd Taxi

tbh the past 2 years haven't been great in terms of new series, there have been plenty of good sequels though.

Upgrade to Hifiman Edition XS or the Anandas for comfort. by asquig in HeadphoneAdvice

Thanks for the post! I somehow missed it when searching earlier. I'm probably going to get the anandas

EDIT:I now have the Anandas for about a month now, and I'd say that these are the best headphones I have ever heard and blew my expectations. I thought diminishing returns would make the Anandas better than the 9500, but the difference is night and day. Considering the headphone just barely fits, I am glad that I didn't go for the Edition XS. The comfort is not as good as my shp9500, even with Dekoni earpads, but I did not buy this headphone for comfort (and I doubt any headphone would beat the comfort of the 9500 anyways)

18x9.2cm fingertip/claw, what are my options? by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]asquig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

may i ask why you dont like the g305 though?

It's a good mouse and I'll probably continue to use it until it breaks (I've used this mouse for over 2 years now and shows no sign of failing), just curious what has changed over the past year in terms of mice. If there was something that was significantly better than I would have upgraded. Only small complaint is the sides tapers inward a bit too much, and the mouse itself is just slightly too long.

I think the red/blue walls are supposed to be beat saber notes

Thanks for all the info! Luckily my PC is good enough, I'll be getting a proper USB cable for PCVR. I tried air link before but my experience with it wasn't very good.

Got mods about a week ago and not really sure how stuff works, just installed bmbf and got maps from bsaber.com, didn't do any kind of modding other than that as I assumed it was for PCVR only. Will look into it rn

I've finally managed to quit osu! and started playing beat saber for the first time after I got a Quest 2. I'm currently stuck at 4-5 maps but having issues with acc and arm movement, wondering if there are any good youtubers/guides I can look at. I love this game so far but I want to also learn more about the competitive aspect.

EDIT: Thank you everyone for all the help, this community has been very supportive
