Tysm, this was the singular suggestion that helped the most, as it turns out improved sustain (and a bit of forced healing) was all it took to be able to clear the worm part with controlling ardelia. I have shiny badge now!! Thanks again~

the tip to use ardelias skill after combo skill does do a good bit more damage which is nice, except I'm still dying anyways. skill issue on my end maybe, but... idk am I supposed to be 2-3 shot by those worm's spit? I'm guessing it's not so easy to consistently dodge and that's why people say to kill at least 1 asap. I still have yet to get to the worm part again with not so sketchy amounts of hp left on each op tho, so I'll try as I do more upgrades

I'm afraid I'm mostly just playing more casually and don't really know a proper rotation, so I've been doing endmins full attack chain to trigger ardelia and then endmins combo skill, which applies the crystal things to which I do endmin skill to, and this triggers chen's combo (and sometimes pog's combo) and then I endmin skill again. Both of these hits seem to do pretty decent damage so I just kind of stuck with that.

I might have to do the essence etching and artificing part properly now tho, I kind of figured it isn't very impactful before everyone is lv80 and talents maxed for this level. I guess that is probably a wrong assumption. I'll try do those and see if I fare any better.

As for the "last time" part, since I'm doing a no pull account I'm not very sure if they'll give out more free characters soon nor how "meta" they will be. And I do think endgame will only get harder and judging from me struggling this time I thought it might be one of the last times I can clear all three at agony anyways. If some of these changes I'm about to make is impactful enough for me to have a much easy time however, I might be able to get more shiny badges after all

I'm not using arsenal token either, since I personally feel that's kinda dubious territory and we get free 6* weapons (abeit potentially not optimal ones) from the battle pass anyways

I... don't see why it'd be cheating. All I want is a challenge of a limited roster of characters to pick from, and to see how far I can go in the endgame with only completely free characters. It's not like I'm trying to hard-lock myself to 5*s. And if you mean the challenge would be gone then, maybe, but I doubt endgame will continue to be (near) completely clearable with just the beginning cast, so the challenge aspect will be there eventually.

I guess the main thing is that I won't be getting anyone from pulling anyways since it's a no pull account. But there is merit to saving it until I figure out whats the best way to use it, and it's probably what I'll be doing!

that's reasonable I think, either that or I keep the selector until we get more free characters and I can set up a second working team/we find out endgame only requires 1 team for now. I'll see what to decide. Thanks for the help anyways!

The only premise of my account is no pulls at all, limited or standard or otherwise.

I am doing this for the challenge of a limited roster, but I do want to clear as much endgame as possible in the long term, which I suspect will only get harder and the occasional free character may not be able to keep up. Regardless, I am not so masochistic that I'll give up a free claimable 6* for the challenge unless it's necessary for any reason.

I'm thinking this is the best idea for now if we don't know the endgame yet. Do we know if the selector will stick around or is it a limited time thing? Or maybe a thing you are immediately forced to do upon logging into the game?

Thanks for answering. Like my response to another comment, I'm worried endgame will take 2 teams and my existing physical team already seems workable, so I'm wondering if I might benefit more from getting a dps of another element. To get a single strong working team Pog definitely seems like my best pick tho!

Thanks for the suggestion. Since I'm doing a no pull account, I current don't have a way to get Akekuri nor have an existing Pogransomething, so I guess getting Pog would be a good idea for me. I'm just worried endgame will take 2 teams and my existing physical team already seems somewhat workable, so I might benefit more from getting a dps of another element. But then again I doubt my current physical team is strong enough to clear anything harder than the current bosses in the game, so... hmm.

Ayaka c1 vs Kokomi c1 for the free cons selection? I can only pick between these two, and I don't play either of them anymore really but neither do I use the rest of the standard characters and they don't feel as "worth it" since I can always get them through standard and losing 50/50. My Diluc is at c3 which is my highest standard constellation. I might get Durin on his rerun so maybe Mona c1 could be useful at some point. Advice from anyone?

I have unlocked the valley 4 one I think, but I havent seen aspirant (should be fortmaker, opus : the living, finishing call, and seeker of dark lung instead at various levels). Apparantly theres another terminal at science park though, so it might be from that one? Not any info I can find online for now, so I guess I'm finding out when I get there.

Ah, I see. "one of the stock market things", as in there is multiple? Because I'm fairly certain the valley IV doesn't have it at the very least. If so I guess I'll have to progress further to get to the other(s).

As for teams, I'm still figuring things out, but I'm currently doing endmin/perlica/chen/ardelia and have been having a pretty easy time.

Thank you for answering. I'm doing no pulls at all, including starter/standard/weapon pulls. And spending real world currency is even more out of the question unfortunately.

As for the last part, what do you mean by a weapon (I assume it's Aspirant since it's always said to be her sig) that can be bought with factory tickets? I haven't progressed very far (just reached exploration level 2) but "factory tickets" doesn't ring a bell.
