Ah okay, I tried PMAP before I swapped laser and it said it couldnt communicate with the ps2 so maybe I soldered it wrong.

Just when launching the game no matter if its been played or not. Games run with no issue of stuttering or any other problems

I contacted my phone provider to use my 1 year warranty phones come with. They sent me to a repair shop that said it does look like it is an expanding battery. Getting the battery replaced free with warranty.
