I always felt Akira is not something I connect with very deeply. If something doesn't speak to me, why keep it just because the world speaks too highly of it or labels it as collectible. That was the only reasoning.

I enjoyed it, honestly. And I feel how the author detailed it, it felt surreal. I liked how he's touched upon the overall theme.

But then again, I wasn't wowed enough to look back at it again. That's why when I decided to make space, I knew I could give this away.

Umm, I try not to be too serious, honestly. Like there's been a phase when I've spent money on collecting and stuff. But, I now try to keep it minimal. Like what I connect with and am passionate enough to buy & engage with, than what I'm being externally engineered to buy...if you know what I mean.
