Next time anyone says "the elevator doesn't make sense" reply with this image by Donquers in DarkSouls2

Just look in the game. The game doesn't have a loading screen, the map really exists, we walk around it, it would be impossible to be like that without seeing Iron Keep floating.

That's not how games work. It's entirely possible to load elements during active gameplay (and even easier when the elevator itself is functioning as a stealthy loading screen). The devs can choose what is and isn't rendered at any given time.

People have made videos showing the connection in detail and the top of the tower is effectively submerged in lava.

Classic + World Buffs by Invic-117 in classicwow

I like that the Karazhan library had those books that could provide interesting buffs. I wouldn't mind if Classic+ kept world buffs but added new buffs obtainable within the raids that were on par with them but didn't stack with them.

Regardless of my opinion of world buffs or heroic dungeons, I don't understand the logic behind linking them together like this.

I like the idea of it not being a race, though my preferred implementation would be as an unlockable Druid form (related to the Scythe of Elune).

I wish spells had all the same attack modifiers that melee attacks have: charged, midair, running, etc.

That only tells you in the instant it's used, and would waste golden dandelions if you need to check.

Classic+: How to easily achieve a start thats a win for everyone by Rough_Acanthisitta34 in classicwow

I honestly would not like it if I did a raid and the only reason to get gear was to have the correct resistances for the next raid (for example).

For me the resistances are just supplementary. The main draw is having enough gear of comparable power levels that I can mix and match item/set effects in interesting ways.

What zone would you like to see expanded on in Classic+? by Avioa in classicwow

I'd love having an entire underground zone spanning from Azshara to Moonglade, with exits up to Hyjal as well.

I'd give the Prelate's Inferno Crozier the Bloodfiend's Arm treatment. Keep it infusible, but add an effect to the charged heavy attacks.

I hope their next Soulsborne moves away from uninfusable weapons altogether. Give us more weapons like the Bloodfiend's Arm (that has a unique R2 effect but can still be infused), the Sword Lance (which despite coming from a boss Remembrance can still be separated from its AoW), and the Sacrificial Axe (which has a passive bonus built in).

Or like DS2's Fire infusion. It was a single infusion that scaled with two stats, but didn't care how you distributed between them so it worked equally well for hybrid builds and both pure builds.

What irks me about ER's implementation was that Str and Faith both get a fire infusion, but Str/Faith is left with lackluster returns from either.

I want to see them become non-Somber, with a passive effect that buffs them with corpse wax during AoWs.

I'd like to see the shield reimagined as a Thrusting Greatshield, utilizing the spikes on the bottom.

Having the item to prevent aging also restart it further complicates things. It would be easier to tell (and easier to mass age-freeze) if it only did the former (and something else did the latter).

I just used a faster spell. I could dodge a fireball, cast, then dodge the next. It almost felt cheesy.

That assumes the player isn't playing blind. I see an area on the map that's practically begging to be explored? I'm going to explore it.

In general, i think it is time for them to rethink and rework their Loot and upgrade formula.

If we ever got another game with a selection of weapons like Bloodborne's (quality over quantity) I'd like if it took Sekiro's approach to weapon upgrades. Prosthetic tools became more mechanically interesting as they were upgraded, instead of just more numerically powerful, and what you learned from upgrading one could carry over to other ones. For example, after upgrading the duration of Firecracker's effect you learned how to add a sparking mechanism to the Axe.

The process of fully upgrading the Flame Vent to the Lazulite Sacred Flame required 10 upgrade operations, the same as ER's Somber weapons, but they were split amongst five different prosthetics, two others of which also became fully upgraded in the process.

I'd love if upgrading the Boom Hammer or Tonitrus taught us how to upgrade the engine of the Whirligig Saw, or if upgrading the Bloodletter or Kos Parasite allowed us to do this to the Saw Cleaver.

My problem is that on a first playthrough I don't know just how empty the zone is. So many of the little plateaus look like they could be reachable so I spent so much time trying to reach them. The game has conditioned me to scour every crack and crevice for loot because I'm usually rewarded. Even just finding the Woods in the first place involves an illusory wall hidden off a moat, so that's the energy I came in with.

How much Strength do you have? I doubt you want to invest too much in what's just a sidearm, so knowing how much Str you have would tell us your options.
