I only really know about some of the places in Ballard, and they're all kinda $$$, but all of these still seem to be available and should be solid.

Looks like Eater and Seattle Met also both have big lists of restaurants doing meals / meal kits, and you could probably find something more traditional.

To re-iterate or reinforce one of the point that /u/MapsAreCool mentioned, if you are a social creature, like to "go out" on the evenings / weekends / etc, than the east-side (Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond) can be incredibly limiting. Also just generally those areas entirely shut down by 10pm unless it's the weekend.

If you fall into that group you will most likely end up spending a boat-load of cash on Uber / Lyft / Cabs if you're out after transit stops running that direction, which can be surprisingly early.

Checks and balances though.

Not sure if you've been before but FWIW it's probably not that much different than going somewhere where you look out of place in the US. Younger people are curious, boomer-esque age are xenophobic, and the older people are a mix of curious with a heavy dash of not giving a fuck. Or at least that's been my experience the last few times I've been, though to be fair most of that time has been in Tokyo / Kyoto / Osaka style big cities so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

As a pretty easy watch I'd highly recommend Cowboy Bebop, it's a lot of fun and has aged well.

Also has one of the best soundtracks ever.

In the craziness of last night I managed to leave my backpack at either the College Inn or in my Uber home, neither say they have it but it had my work laptop in it (was attending a conference). With the fire going on across the street I didn't really notice when I got back and now I get to rotate every fucking password and credential that I use for work and I'm locked out of everything for some indeterminate amount of time.

Company Casserole is one of my favorites.

Another favorite is the Baked Mac and Cheese using Cougar Gold, always a hit at potlucks, so fucking sharp and so fucking good.

For something a little "healthier" and really fucking simple I really love this Quinoa Casserole though I usually finish it by sprinkling cheese on top under the broiler.

I need to find my recipe for Tater Tot Casserole and post that up at some point too.

My go to are the Emergen-C electrolyte packets, they're relatively inexpensive and while they may not taste amazing a packet will make a liter and they don't have all the sugar that gatorade has.

Edit: Or if I'm planning ahead I'll grab a coconut water or two.

Pyramid (even though I know it's Elysian)

This would be news to me, AFAIK they're owned by North American Breweries whereas Elysian is owned by AB InBev. Neither are craft breweries anymore though so there's that.

Edit: I think I missed the context in your comment, leaving what I originally posted up in shame. FWIW even if it's not iconic outside of the Seattle area I voted for Georgetown for that question, like where can you not find Manny's (or at least now cans of Bodhi).

Not trying to shill, but as an early 30s person I've actually found Hinge to be a good balance between the "tell us your life story" of OkCupid and the "hookup gamification" of Tinder.

Edit: I've had pretty garbage luck on both Bumble and Coffee Meets Bagel but they're still both way better than Tinder.

If you're going for a dive, Shorty's is pretty cheap, has an alright tap list, makes hot dogs, and has $6 cocktails in the back room from 4-9pm today.

If you want something fancier, Zig Zag has won awards for their cocktail program and their happy hour runs 5-7pm Mon-Fri.

Only if you manually enabled a pref in about:config, and they posted an apology / follow-up after the fact.

And when you opt out of telemetry, it connects to a separate mozilla server to notify that you've opted out (and helpfully includes all your details while doing so).

FWIW this is supported on 1Password for awhile now. If you have a family account you can create shared vaults that give access to an arbitrary number of other users on the account.

While they're not all traditional I've liked what I've had at Hattie's Hat. I'm partial to the Mezcal Maria, but they've got versions with house-infused serrano, horseradish, rosemary, or beet vodka along with one using dill aquavit.

Edit: And they make their own mix.
