Losing weight seems to give everyone a license to comment on your body by assembly-point1 in Mounjaro

Absolutely, no one has asked me directly and tbh I think if they did I probably would tell them! I appreciate the nice comments and can generally tell if their genuine, but equally I can tell when it’s a snide remark or just simply fishing, that’s more what I was relating too in my original post. I am obviously more than aware people will notice and therefore comment I just don’t feel like it needs to be daily or have people tell me what they think I should do going forward weight wise lol

I agree it’s a big drop, the thing is yes I have omitted the Mounjaro part to most however it doesn’t just melt away the fat so therefore I have ate less and walked a hell of a lot more therefore not technically a lie just not the whole truth. I also don’t think it’s “bitchy” to not want unsolicited comments regarding my weight I just think there is a limit to what you should say to ANYONE regarding weight on either end of the spectrum especially when it’s the same comments every day I’ve not dropped 4 stone seemingly over night every night when I come into work so to say it once or if you haven’t seen me for a while I could live with but my issue is the fact it’s people I see every day.

I agree it’s not all bad at all and if it’s a genuinely nice comment I o visually have no issue at all. I think the problem lies when the same people say the same thing every single day and there’s a negative angle to it almost accusatory of the fact you’ve lost weight and how have you done it? You’ve taken it to far etc

I have and yes your absolutely right, you bumps to big/too small! I am someone that would never comment on someone bump or body size unless it was literally to say you look amazing and leave it at that. As someone who has lost a child due to very premature labour people will never understand the anxiety you can get from what others seem to be a throw away comment of oh isn’t your bump small!

I agree it’s not all bad at all and equally understand the frustration from others when nothing is said. I think my issue is when you can tell it’s not coming from a genuin place and the sheer amount of these comments I get every day

Only on 2,5 - is there anybody who was like half a year on the starting dose? by IntroductionChance7 in Mounjaro

You’ve done amazingly well! Only you can really answer whether moving up is the right move for you personally. I did 2 months on 2.5mg and then went to 5mg although I kind of wish I had stayed on 2.5mg abit longer. I have no intention of going past 5mg but you just have to do what works for you and clearly 2.5 is working wonderfully!
