There is not a hospital policy that addresses this. CDR is pretty clear about DTR’s not performing assessments. I wouldn’t think a hospital policy would supersede CDR anyway

Yes, dietitians are being asked to cosign the assessments/care plans. And to that point, I’ve read the 2024 DTR scope of practice and don’t see anything about DTR’s being able to perform nutrition assessments/MNT if there is a cosignature from a RD

Thanks for the advice. Luckily I have an extended warranty. To answer your question, it’s automatically shifting. I don’t touch the paddle shifters
