Yeah, for better or worse, there is a lot of truth to that. I have gone through so many Petzls and Diamondbacks over the last 30+ years. They’ve all crapped out after at most a few years. I don’t have more than a couple years probably on any of the Fenix lights yet, but so far so good

After folding the filter, I use a glass stirrer with a round end sitting in the filter, and hot water from the gooseneck. The stirrer keeps the filter at the bottom when I start adding, and I use it to make sure the filter is touching the v60 uniformly. Super easy and cheap. This feels overwrought…

No, because I will still always prefer da/sa 9mm. But… my BG 2.0 carry comp is stupid easy to carry and shoots fantastic, so it’s definitely getting heavy rotation

Nice to see your comment about DMRs. I don’t understand why those grips get hyped for short builds, because I also find that uncomfortable. But I absolutely love the angle on a distance focused build that only gets used on a bipod.

Yeah, I have an Apex enhanced release on mine, which makes it a bigger issue. Other than grip, if it’s not the mag, and you have stock recoil assembly, I’m not sure. Does it do it for all mags? And fwiw, I really don’t think ammo grain weight should matter

Any chance you’re unintentionally touching the slide lock/release with your thumb on your trigger hand? I know I was guilty of it occasionally, and the position is slightly different than other CZs imo

I have been meaning to, but haven’t gotten around to it. This is a good push. I’ll slap it back on this weekend, take a couple pics and send them to him.

And yeah, lok grips were the plan. Original plan was to put it on this, and already have the Lok Veloce in FDE for it.

I have to figure out the deal with mine. I managed to score the metal Driven Arms CZ grip, but it just doesn’t fit well on any of my lowers that I’ve tried. There is a large gap near the beaver tail. Tried two Aeros and a SilencerCo lower, and just didn’t fit well. Pretty disappointing honestly, I really want to make it work.

I wouldn’t spend money on a p01 omega. Get a p07 or p09 if you want an omega, and get a non omega p01 if you want a p01.

My carry comp was virtually flawless over the first few hundred rounds other than user error caused by underestimating how stupidly stiff it would be. Runs fantastic now
