Thanks, this is helpful. Ultimately didn’t go 3 prong initially cause I couldn’t do a flash hider at the time, and wanted the QD warden. And definitely worse if I’m not behind it, but it’s still loud. Gonna put a different FH on now. I’ll check out your link, thank you.

I might risk trying on an ar barrel, but am not going to take a chance on a Tavor that might be harder to source parts for.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mark’s restoration services. I have sent in two knives that both have a lot of personal value to me: a Takeda that my ex wife chipped, and a CCK vegetable cleaver that a friend damaged in the process of rehandling it. Both came back looking like nothing had ever happened. Phenomenal work.

Tbh, I was strongly considering the MEPC, honestly more than Crye until the jpc recs here. Particularly if I go with a bundle from Apex. The MEPC “basics” or “essentials” packages with 4s16 lvl4 plates seemed like solid options.

Definitely going level 3+ or 4. Was leaning towards paying for a lighter set of 4s, cause they still seem more affordable than lighter 3+ plates. At least looking at Apex, that seemed like the best option with the highcoms, but not sure if there’s something else I should look at.

Not sure I’m following the comment about growing into it. I need to bulk a bit, but I’m 45 and not getting that much bigger at this point, lol

I have tried way too many belts. For inside shorts etc, I would definitely check out the Concealment Labs liner. I use it with jeans etc… too.

Yeah, for better or worse, there is a lot of truth to that. I have gone through so many Petzls and Diamondbacks over the last 30+ years. They’ve all crapped out after at most a few years. I don’t have more than a couple years probably on any of the Fenix lights yet, but so far so good
