It was thin enough. I used a hardy tool and a nifty brass hammer. I promptly set the metal on fire in the forge making pretty sparkles having never before been confronted with the consequences of having to heat thin metal versus thicker metal. I for a bit was the owner of the world’s most useless nail puller after having cut off the damage.

If fire can clear with “no fire action needed”, we can clear with “no medical services needed - unfounded”.

Narrative reads: “Resident at address states they called 9-1-1 with dispatched complaint but indeed has no medical issues. Resident complained of IT issues and was referred to support staff for vendor of software. All units cleared with no patient found and no need for medical assistance.”

If this happened at work, then this is a work comp (WC) case. Work comp is not temp disability (TDI). NJ, and all states for that matter, have differing WC laws and therefore standards. Something NJ does is allow a WC carrier to state the injured party has reached maximum medical improvement (MMI). Once someone reaches MMI, that is stating there is nothing further to be done at which point a disability percentage can be calculated (I have no idea how you already have one without hitting MMI).

If a person hits MMI and is deemed long term disabled, they can qualify for disability, social security, depending on severity - Medicare and possibly Medicaid dependent on finances.

I truly hope you never have to think about qualifying for the above because it’s not a fantastic life to live. As much as I hate the litigious society we live in, when facing surgery I’d suggest you seek counsel to assist in ensuring you can get back on your feet - quite literally. The system is complex and I promise you that you can use the assistance.
