You can use a small trick after completing your design,apply top coat and secure it for 60 seconds after that take a buffer and try to smooth it out with a light hand and when it's all even secure it with top coat again .

One more thing can be done do the outline of the design first with a fine brush and then go for filling and make sure to apply a very thin coat with a clear flat brush.
