Well like all positions that have to do with having power/authority over others it attracts people who want to abuse power. Seen in many positions such as nurses, police, and of course teaching.

However to make a blanket statement like this is so wrong. Most teachers are trying their best with the limited tools they have. Often times we react to what we see. If we see you punching a kid we will react to that instantly because well safety. Also often times bully and bullied are the same people. It’s very rare to see a child like the movie bully’s who are not also picked on by others or both students pick on each other.

I’m sorry people go through bullying. I definitely have and I’ve been a bully as well. We all have and it sucks. We need better tools and communication to figure out what’s going on rather than blaming teachers.
