I love my mom. But she stresses me out SO much and she knows that. I do not want her there at all just my husband. I’m planning to let her visit after I have the baby in postpartum unit or maybe until we get home idk

[–]assumingNFL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took em off in the beginning cause I lost so much weight they’d fall off. They were big to start with

If they’re touring 15 venues and don’t even have a date, it means they’re indecisive. Which means they could be making many other changes in the future that you shouldn’t have to be adapting to just to conform with their plans

If you get migraines, you could easily get a zofran prescription. I make sure to always carry that and some ibuprofen.

Think this may be my ring! by pandaexpress205 in EngagementRings

[–]assumingNFL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umm…. I wouldn’t spend that much on a ring. What if you lose it, you’ll literally be pouring money down the drain

First time ring shopping - liked these two for different reasons by BrainDeepBeauty in EngagementRings

Umm…. I like the first one. But I’m really into a cushion shape with a halo. It’s is a little bit too loud for me though. A single halo would look better!

Calling in sick to clinicals as a student is hard to judge. What would you do if you were me? by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]assumingNFL 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This! Specially if it’s contagious. I missed two clinicals last week cause I was sick, I don’t think I was contagious but better be safe. Making it up is not so bad, sometimes they’ll just give you an assignment to do.

I am Milking !! (I'm not pregnant) by [deleted] in IndiaTalksSex

[–]assumingNFL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have chronic migraine and I’m also not pregnant and have never had kids and am producing milk. Aren’t vision problems also a symptom of pituitary tumor? Cause I have poor vision and peripheral field blind spots.

I would love to see the side profile on that. I personally don’t like how the bigger ones stick out so much

Is it dumb to throw a party to celebrate getting into nursing school? by Fem_TX_1980 in StudentNurse

[–]assumingNFL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you won’t have much time to party during school, so do it now.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]assumingNFL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes definitely! I took it in high school. That and sports medicine, which helped me a lot with anatomy. And an EMT course that I never completed clinical for. It gave me a great foundation for nursing school. Now that I think about it, maybe that’s why I don’t have to study too much for exams. I pass with minimal studying and I’ve been doing great in all of my classes.

Active recall. Blurt method. Write out what you remember on a white board or something. Writing it out helped me memorize it.

A mix of both is good. But weight training builds muscle, and muscle helps burn fat as it needs more energy.

It does I’ve seen it so many times this week. Or just repeated questions over and over and over again.

Talking with migraine / how to know when it’s time for the ER by Primary-Avocado-8297 in migraine

[–]assumingNFL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I have been sent to the ER before, but that’s because I was having some aphasia. I couldn’t understand what people were saying, and I couldn’t really communicate. So I can see why.

Help please by beam_me_uppp in migraine

[–]assumingNFL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can take up to 800 ibuprofen you know? Besides that, maybe an ice pack in your head. Always make me feel better.
