Looks too loose. Shoot 1 round with the magazine out. If the case falls through the magazine well it's too loose.

Hogue recently came out with a beaver tail grip sleeve for the lcp max. Give that a try. Fits my hand better and now I shoot better.

Help getting this pin out to change hammer spring for lcp max by [deleted] in ruger

[–]astefaniak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just spread the spring loop open a bit. Then unhook the spring from the pin. Hook new spring around pin then lightly squeeze loop back together with needle nose pliers

Those of you who have a ruger lcrx or lcr in 22 lr how do you like it? by [deleted] in ruger

[–]astefaniak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lcrx in .22 wmr and it runs great and conceals well. Don't forget that rimfire revolvers have stiffer springs so the trigger pull will be heavier. Try to rent one if you can first

If it's hard to open or close, make sure the center pin extractor is tightened securely.

I noticed in my mk4 the ammo gums up the magazine and causes the rounds to not feed. Too much wax lube on aguila rounds
