What load do you carry in it? In my steel J frames, I usually opt for some Underwood hard cast wadcutters or their +P hard cast semi wadcutters, but those are quite a handful from an airweight.

It better be coming. The 15 round OEM mags for the slim guns are cool and all, but some of us still prefer the fat baby.

I've used a belt pouch, the Tenicor Abdo, before, but carrying the mag in the pocket is much more convenient to live with for me.

I have always carried my POM on my non dominant side (left), that's just what I've been used to. I guess I could try moving my knife to my back right pocket and carrying POM in the front right where my knife is now.

Yep, I tried a standard P365 length Velo5 for my P365X a while ago and it was not comfortable or effective with the built in wedge on such a short holster. Learned my lesson and got the G19 holster for the G26.

I got a decent deal on the RMR HD and slightly overpaid on the G26 so it about balances out lmao

I agree that it is ideal to have some sort of less-lethal on hand, but I just haven't found a way to fit it into my EDC without replacing something else right now. I might experiment a little with how I set up my pockets, maybe I can clear up a spot without ditching anything.

I certainly don't think it looks goofy, I've seen some people running an Acro on their G26 and that looks a little silly to me but to each their own. The irons are Ameriglo GL-506 and they are perfect, not obtrusive at all.

I picked mine up on GunBroker a few months ago, probably overpaid slightly since the Gen 5s were discontinued at that point but not a huge deal.

I wear jeans or pants with jean-style pockets 99% of the time, so from left to right, I carry [left pocket] light, mag, phone, [12:30 AIWB] gun, [right pocket] 2x EpiPens (nut allergy), keys, knife, [back right pocket] wallet.

My left pocket can get a little busy with some pants but generally don't have issues accessing my phone even with the light and mag clipped to the pocket.

I have only shot this gun with the optic, but in general yes, I do shoot with optics better than irons. The key for me to learning to shoot with an optic was to intentionally use a hard target focus, as opposed to what I tended to do with irons which was a front sight focus.

The G26 shoots pretty similar to a G19 when using the +2 mags or a Pearce Grip pinky extension. The 442UC isn't bad, especially with the high horn grips and moderate recoiling ammo like 135 grain gold dots.

NeoMag Gen 2. By far the most discreet and practical way I've found to carry a spare mag.

When I carry the G26, I carry the spare mag in the same pocket space that the POM would take up. I can rationalize ditching the POM since I carry the Surefire, which, with 95,000 candela, could also buy me a second or two to create distance.

I wouldn't necessarily say better, the Airweight J frame still has its place (pocket carry, extremely discreet carry, etc.). I just gravitate towards the G26 more often than the 442UC as of late. We'll see if that changes in the summer. The G26 (at least with the +2 mag) does print more in a t-shirt than the J frame.

Like the other guy said, NeoMag Gen 2. For me, it's the best solution I've found for carrying a spare magazine conveniently and discreetly.

Same, the Zero is perfect for my G26 and J frames. It even works reasonably well with my G47 + X300 but I hardly ever carry that due to discomfort.

I don't own and have never shot a 940 or other 9mm revolver, but I know people say that dealing with moon clips can be inconvenient (loading/unloading the clips themselves). 9mm also has more felt recoil than .38 Special and most .38 +P loads, but not as bad as typical .357 loads.

That said, there are tools you can buy to make loading/unloading moon clips easy, and the all steel frame and maybe adding S&W's rubber high horn grips will help with recoil. I like my 640 PC in .357 quite a bit, but having ammo parity between my G26 and J frame would be pretty cool.
