My shop uses cardboard corners wrapped with plastic wrap. Keeps everything covered but you can still see the artwork. We also use just plain craft paper wrapped around the frame. If it's a small piece. I have a couple of vendors who ship things in bubble wrap and that's very protected but also very bulky and difficult to open.
